Northern Ontario Rails has a chapter with wonderful colour photographs of the Little Current Subdivision by Keith Hopkin. This book is what got me really thinking about a switching layout based on this beautiful corner of the world.

A handy book with information about the Little Current Subdivision. There is a dedicated section about the Algoma Eastern Railway and some great reference images. This book was another helpful reference resource when planning this layout.
Algoma Eastern Railway was a great find for anything interested in the origins of some of the tracks between Sudbur to Espanola and then on to Little Current via the wonderful swing bridge.
