Painting the rocks along the tracks and hwy 68 near the swing bridge. Most of this will probably be covered in overgrowth but I’ll be looking at it as is for awhile so I wanted to do a good job here.

I got hung up on getting the colours close to some of the reference photos I have. I’m using Vallejo German WW2 Beige as a base coat with washes of Vallejo Chocolate and Oiled Earth. Everything is then drybrushed with Stone Grey and some AK interactive light grey. Then everything gets a light control wash of grimy black wash, in some places I use the same consistency chocolate wash. I do this last wash very thin and build up coats. Finally everything is sealed up with clear matte acrylic paint. Below are my reference photos from google maps.
