Fixing the track alignment has lead to shaping some of the only land forms on the Little Current layout. Cube shapes are cut with a sharp xacto blade and glued down with no more nails. I find this method helps to add some randomness. To keep each module light I’m using as much foam in my construction as possible. I forgot to take process photos but here are shots of the foam stage and after it has been covered with sculptamold and painted my standard base ground colour. The rocks are plaster, sculptamold, and cork pieces mixed with some real limestone.
