I’ve started staining and varnishing the facia to give it a more finished appearance. I’m trying this thin eco 5mm plywood with an interesting veneer wrapped around all sides of each module that will help to keep down the weight. I plan to finish it like a piece of furniture. It right takes time but I’m putting in the effort as the layout is in a finished room so I think its worth it.
