I have lots of locomotives but a RS-10 is an important early diesel engine for my Little Current layout. I have seen several photographs of and RS-10 pulling the daily mixed train in the last years of service. I was able to by a Proto 2000 model new in box but used. I’ve disassembled it, cleaned everything and added a Loksound v5 with keep alive and sound project installed. The tricky bit was installing the electronics so gearboxes could still be cleaned and serviced. Everything screws or snaps in place now. Glad to see the chassis back together and running smoothly on DCC. Lots of room left for extra weight if needed.
